Exploring CBAs in Obama Presidential Center Planning
Virginia Parks, professor of urban planning and public policy, and department chair, is frequently sought out for her expertise on Community Benefit Agreements (CBAs) and how they are utilized by community activist groups in influencing development campaigns. Recently, she has provided commentary in a number of venues on the debate over CBAs in the planning for the Obama Presidential Center project in Chicago.
