MURP Capstone Day Showcase

Our second-year Master of Urban and Regional Planning students showcased their practice-oriented exit projects at MURP Capstone Day on March 15, presenting to planning professionals and community members, as well as faculty, alumni, and fellow students, who provided constructive questions, feedback, and suggestions.

Community Practicum projects involve group work which includes site studies and community interviews to analyze social, economic and physical conditions of designated neighborhood areas in the City of Costa Mesa. Throughout the process, the students interact with stakeholders to understand opportunities and constraints and develop planning and policy recommendations for the area.
