Qi Bing and Kyle Webber, both second-year MURP students, received scholarships from the Orange County Association of Environmental Professionals (OCAEP). OCAEP’s annual scholarship program recognizes academic excellence and supports future environmental professionals in their studies at area universities.
Many of the students in UCI’s Master of Urban and Regional Planning program pursue environmental careers. OCAEP supports students’ growth in the field through its scholarship program and a variety of events and opportunities to network with members in environmental careers (e.g., resume workshops, speed networking, professional panels). Students in the MURP program coordinate with OCAEP to offer variety of activities on campus and raise awareness of local offerings through the OCAEP Student Chapter at UCI.
